Spinosaurus

So, Spinosaurus from PD. After watching that episode several times I can conclude that it is something of a responsa to the earlier "Monster Resurrected" series. Back then, MR showed Spinosaurus in a vein similar to that of the JPIII movie, an unstoppable juggernaut that went through competition as a knife through butter. By contrast, PD - albeit showing the same dinosaurs featured in the earlier show - made Spinosaurus less formidable, more of a specialized fish-eater (ALA a wading bird) than an unstoppable killing machine. I must admit that this version makes more sense.

Yes and I like how they actually made it vulnerable to attack from Carcharodontosaurus.

''PD'' showed ''Spinosaurus'' in the niche it really occupied. ''Carcharodontosaurus'' was the apex predator of that ecosystem.
