spinosaur=59 feet long,22 feet tall,11 tons

t-rex=43 feet long,20 feet tall,9 tons

The 59 foot, 11 ton Spinosaurus is outdated, the 2014 findings have shown us the true proportions of Spinosaurus, such as the head to body size ratio. Spinosaurus reached 50 feet in length, around 10 feet tall at the hips and 5.5 to 8.2 short tons in weight. The reason for the reduced weight is because earlier estimates did not take into account the shallow chest of Spinosaurus, not to mention the reduced overall length.

The largest T. rex that we can actually confirm the size of is "Sue" (FMNH PR 2081). Which measures 40 feet long, 12 feet tall at the hips and weighed approximately 9.25 to 9.7 short tons in weight. The reason it's heavier than Spinosaurus, but shorter in length, is because T. rex is a much more robust than Spinosaurus. It's head, neck, torso and tail were all far wider than Spinosaurus'. T. rex lacked the shallow chest of Spinosaurus, and it's ribcage was extremely wide, almost barrel like even.

Also, please ignore the 12+ ton estimates for any carnivorous theropod dinosaur, they all have MAJOR flaws in their methods.

Now Tyrannosaurus rex measures 51 feet long and can kill a spinosaurus if they meet 60% of the time. But that's on land.
